BGI (Beijing Genomics Institute), founded 12 years ago, is one of the world's leading genomics research centres. Last year some 14,000 projects were completed at BGI. We are currently exploring possibilities for collaboration in Europe, as BGI-Europe is now established in Copenhagen. During my talk I will present some of the research at our institute based on DNA, RNA and Epigenetics Sequencing techniques, and I will also describe the new trends of the Omic-developments based on BGI's ongoing projects.
