CIGENE lecture 24 June: QTL2 - Querying Trout Life by identifying Quantitative Trait Loci

Dr Roy Danzmann from the Department of Zoology, University of Guelph,
Canada will give a talk on querying trout life by identifying QTL.

Time: Thursday 24 June, 15.15 - 16.00
Place: AUN, Animal Science Building, meeting room lower level

The research field of Dr. Danzmann is evolutionary, developmental and
physiological genetics of fishes. In his research, he focuses on examining
the adaptive significance of genetic variation in fishes. His studies are
concentrated on identifying, characterizing, and investigating the
mechanism of action, of genes that have important influences on fitness
traits in salmonid fishes.
