The suite of genotyping technologies available at CIGENE provides investigators with many opportunities and alternatives in designing their experiments. Moreover, our participation in more than 50 SNP genotyping projects means that we are well placed to offer assistance in experimental design of SNP-based projects.
Previously, CIGENE engaged the Norwegian Computing Center (NCC) to write the report Experimental design and statistical analysis of SNP data obtained in genetic association studies. Assembling this report exposed NCC to biological data and enabled them to make full use of their considerable expertise with experimental design issues, and thereby assisted CIGENE with experimental design services. If you should require professional help from NCC, CIGENE may be in a position to substantially subsidize NCC's fees.
For platform users who already have their experimental design set up, we can offer help with designing SNP assays/primers for the relevant SNPs in each individual experiment.
