Causality under indirect observation: Path modelling in latent variables

The occasion is the visit to Campus Ås by the econometricians prof. M. Tenenhaus (HEC School of Management, Paris), and prof. V. Vinzi, (Univ. Napoli). They are both strongly involved in modernizing Herman Wold's original PLS path modelling systems.

Based on last year's NOREVENT conference on statistical modelling of causality (UiO/CIGENE), MATFORSK's cooperation with the BI business school in Oslo on LISREL path modelling, and other on-going activities in causal modelling in functional genomics in CIGENE, we would like to investigate the conceptual, mathematical, statistical, software and cognitive aspects of causal modelling in a multi-disciplinary setting.
