On behalf of the Centre for Molecular Biology and Neuroscience, University of Oslo (CMBN), we have the pleasure of inviting you to participate in the Symposium "Advances in Molecular Mechanisms of Disease: High Throughput Platforms and Advances in Imaging" that will take place in Oslo at Soria Moria, on June 8th - 12th, 2009. The symposium is organised jointly by the three Nordic Centres of Excellence in Molecular Medicine and one of the basic aims of the meeting is to provide an overview of recent advances in this field, with a particular focus on modern imaging techniques and high throughput technologies. The symposium includes a course for younger researchers. Thus, the overriding goal is to increase the awareness among the young scientists of the technologies that are currently available and to help them get access to these techniques. Your participation would be much appreciated. In addition to the symposium, ScanBalt Academy will have a satellite meeting about Nordic/Baltic Collaboration within ecology and biomedicine. The main purpose of the seminar is to better integrate research on ecology and life sciences in Northern Europe.
