Present position: Ph.d student in genetics (Norwegian University of Life Sciences, UMB)

Degrees: MSc in Chemistry and Biotechnology (Norwegian University of Science and Technology, NTNU), 2007.

Research experience: Computational Biology: Statistical genetics, analysis on metabolite data. Analytical biochemistry: Biochemical networks and signaling in DNA repair in human cell lines (LC-TOFMS and GC-MS analysis on extra cellular metabolites).

Current research: Mapping polymorphisms affecting clinical mastitis in Norwegian Red cattle. SNP discovery in the bovine genome. Assisting assembly of the bovine genome. Method development for modelling genetic effects.
