Present position: PhD-student.

Current research activity: Mathematical modelling of the mammalian heart. My focus is on coupling models describing heart muscle cell activity with continuum electrophysiology and solid mechanics together. I will study the effect of how genotypic (or low level phenotypic) variation gives variation on high level phenotypes (such as whole organ function).

Degrees: Master of technology (Mathematics and physics), at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (UMB), Ås, 2005.

Professional background: Researcher at Sintef Energy Research (2006-2008), working on technologies CO2 capture and storage, process simulation and fluid dynamics.

Research experience: Bio-computing and Software Programming Perl, C. Biological Research Oriented Analysis. Genotype data analysis.
