Current research activity: Developing a yeast genotype-phenotype framework which is able to mimic yeast adaptation processes (test tube Darwinian evolution). Through this framework we can answer deeper issues on how evolutionary forces (Ex. mutation, genetic drift and selection) shape the genotype-phenotype distribution by making testable hypotheses.

Degrees: M.Sc in Bioinformatics at Bharathiar University, India.

Professional background: Bioinformatician (Genseq Ltd, 2007-2008, Malaysia). Research Assistant, Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology (CCMB), India (2006 to 2007).

Research experience: Comparative genomics study between Drosophila Melanogaster and other completely sequenced insect genomes.
