Professional background: Lab technician at Microbiological Department, University Hospital North-Norway (1999); Lab technician at University of Tromsø/Hydro, 2000; Lab technician at Cerealia (2001-2003); Lab technician at Department of Animal Science, UMB (2004-)

Research experience: Peptides synthesis (solid phase fluorenylmethoxycarbonyl chemistry), HPLC (revers phase), Synergy study (Antibiotic–peptide) using Staphylococcus aureus, sample collecting and handling, DNA/RNA extraction, cDNA synthesis, gene expression, DNA sequencing, sequence alignmenting, SNP detection, SNP verification, SNP typing using MassARRAY technology (Sequenom) and working analysis results.

Relevant recent activity: DNA extraction and SNP typing.
