Professional background: Post doctoral fellow, IHA, UMB, Ås (2000-2004), 40% position administration, IHA, UMB, responsible for course at MSc level (2003-2004), 60% post doc, Scientist IHA, UMB (2005-07). Scientist in the CIGENE project “Identification of genetic determinant underlying filet colour in Atlantic salmon” (2007-2010). 

Research experience: Molecular biology. Cell biology, Regulation of lipid metabolism. Cloning and molecular characterisation of lipid-related genes in pig, human and salmon. Nutritional effects on gene regulation Primary adipocyte cultivation. Gene expression, protein expression.

Main responsible for arranging the international workshop “Pig – the ideal biomedical model of obesity related traits ?” Drøbak, June 2004.
