CIGENE lecture: Detection and fine mapping of Economic Trait Loci in dairy cattle

Two leading scientists from INRA (the National Institute of Agronomic Research) in France will give a presentation entitled:

"The different resources available in France to detect and fine map Economic Trait Loci in dairy cattle":

- the French Marked Assisted Selection Program

- QTL detection in an F2 crossbreed experiment (HolsteinxNormande)

- Molecular resources : comparative map, RH maps, BAC physical map and genome sequencing project

Dr Didier Boichard is head of the animal genetics department in INRA , and Dr André Eggen is the supervisor of the bovine genomic team in the LGbC - molecular genetic lab (INRA-Jouy en Josas).
