Request for proposals to sequence Atlantic Salmon

Genome British Columbia has announced an international Request for Proposals to Sequence, Assemble and Annotate the Genome of the Atlantic Salmon (Salmo Salar).

A Request for Proposals (RFP) has been issued by the International Collaboration to Sequence the Atlantic Salmon Genome (ICSASG). The ICSASG is an international collaboration involving researchers, funding agencies and industry from Canada, Norway and other countries. Applicants will be a large-scale sequencing centre or a consortium of centres. Eligible applicants should register their intent to apply to this RFP by July 17, 2009 and must submit their proposal by August 17, 2009.
